AEITS, Inc. is looking to grow its team! We are seeking a Tier 2 Field Support System Administrator - Level 1 to support remote operations by providing technical support and troubleshooting for network, desktop, and systems hardware and software. This role combines remote technical support with occasional on-site response and installation duties, requiring strong expertise in hardware, systems, and end-user support.
In this position, you will support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The ideal candidate will provide worldwide support through remote access tools and work closely with Tier 2 and Availability Management teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Mission: As a System Administrator on this government program, you will play a vital role in maintaining critical systems, resolving complex technical issues, and enhancing user experience through expert troubleshooting and dedicated service. Remote operations with required travel for installation and support tasks

Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Certifications:
Must hold an IAT Level I certification, such as:
CompTIA A+ CE
CompTIA Network+ CE
Requirements:

TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, networks, and systems software/hardware in remote and field environments.
Use desktop mirroring and other remote access tools to support users globally.
Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of IT hardware both remotely and on-site as needed.
Apply diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve issues.
Modify, move, and install new hardware equipment.
Process Data Transfer Agent requests to securely transfer files across networks.
Interview users to gather information and perform integrity tests.
Work closely with Tier 2 support and Availability Management for escalated issues.
Document support actions, problem resolutions, and update technical records.
Mentor and guide junior IT staff as required.
Interact professionally with users during remote and on-site support sessions.
Operate in environments requiring physical activity such as lifting, pushing, or pulling equipment.
Required Skills:
Ability to lift 20-30 pounds
Ability to walk, stand, push, and pull during installation/response tasks
Ability to work in varied physical positions (under, over, and around desks)
