What will I be doing? You will be supporting the Air Force Operational Medicine Information Systems (AFOMIS) Program Office efforts in providing health-related Information Management/ Information Technology (IM/IT) services support to deployed Airmen and collocated personnel. The support includes Medical Expeditionary Systems (MEDXS), medical waivers workflow management, Expeditionary Health Data Store (EHDS), medical analytics dashboards, integrated IM/IT testing capability, medical operations; expeditionary deployment operations and installation contingency response; planning; training; and readiness support functions. What will I be doing? You will be supporting the Air Force Operational Medicine Information Systems (AFOMIS) Program Office efforts in providing health-related Information Management/ Information Technology (IM/IT) services support to deployed Airmen and collocated personnel. The support includes Medical Expeditionary Systems (MEDXS), medical waivers workflow management, Expeditionary Health Data Store (EHDS), medical analytics dashboards, integrated IM/IT testing capability, medical operations; expeditionary deployment operations and installation contingency response; planning; training; and readiness support functions. In this role, you will:
- Support Information Management and Business Process Improvement; document AFOMIS Operational Medicine (OpMed) IM/IT business processes, and produce detailed task inputs and outputs to improve informatics, healthcare reporting, and clinical policy establishment.
- Conduct site surveys to assess readiness for software implementation, coordinate deployment plans, and perform pre- and post-installation testing, including software integration and configuration, at various sites.
- Assist with field deployments and support requests.
- Attend training meetings, develop and maintain training materials, document lessons learned for future installations and operations, and provide data and advice on Air Force training programs to ensure alignment with operational needs.
- Deliver Training and Readiness Support; develop, implement, and deliver MEDXS training, embedding systems training into organic readiness programs, and provide functional and systems administration training for personnel at deployed and CONUS/OCONUS sites.
- Provide Operational Support for MEDXS Systems: install, scan, report on, and administer MEDXS software, conduct audits, transaction logging, and recovery, and troubleshoot software issues in both garrison and theater environments to ensure system functionality and availability.

You mustmeet theminimumrequirements:
- Active Secret clearance
- Experience in theater continuity of care processes combined with the latest AFOMIS OpMed IM/IT technologies to effectively support this business area
- Practical experience in AFOMIS OpMed IM/IT systems.
- BS degree in information technology, logistics, business administration, or a related field, or a dditional years of experience acceptable in lieu of degree
- Proficiency in developing and delivering training materials
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux client-server environments as well as DoD-standard software baselines, is required for tasks like software installation, scanning, and troubleshooting
- Ability to travel, flexibility to work in dynamic, deployed environments and willingness to work in secure facilities - Must have valid US Passport
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements to protect PHI
- Familiarity with medical IT systems
