What level Clearance do I need? You must possess an active Secret clearance.

What will I be doing? You will be supporting the Air Force Operational Medicine Information Systems (AFOMIS) Program Office efforts in providing health-related Information Management/ Information Technology (IM/IT) services support to deployed Airmen and collocated personnel.The support includes Medical Expeditionary Systems (MEDXS), medical waivers workflow management, Expeditionary Health Data Store (EHDS), medical analytics dashboards, integrated IM/IT testing capability, medical operations; expeditionary deployment operations and installation contingency response; planning; training; and readiness support functions. In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate with Developers to design and optimize database schemas that support MEDXS application requirements
  • Assist in software sustainment by maintaining and updating database structures to support modernized applications in enterprise environments.
  • Ensure database structures align with software development efforts, providing efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Other duties as assigned
What experience, training, and education do I need?

You mustmeet theminimumrequirements:
  • Active Secret clearance
  • 10+ years experience configuring and maintaining Oracle, SQL, and web/cloud-based, Windows server-based and Windows client databases.
  • A BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution, or a dditional years of experience acceptable in lieu of degree
  • Ability to travel, flexibility to work in dynamic, deployed environments and willingness to work in secure facilities
  • Familiarity with medical IT systems - Must have valid US Passport
  • Understanding of HIPAA requirements to protect PHI
  • Able to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required
Where is the client site that I would be working for? This position is remote with regular CONUS and OCONUS travel and remote work locations as required. Address disclosed after your clearance is verified.
