Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES) offers forward-thinking technology solutions to federal agencies and the DoD. Formed in 2016 to serve federal customers CONUS, CITES has grown quickly into a best practices leader for the modern federal enterprise.
The Facility Manager will plan, coordinate, organize, and execute all facilities support needed to maintain the Project Director Enterprise Services (PD ES) facilities on Fort Belvoir. The successful candidate will apply facility management techniques and practices and be knowledgeable with electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering terminology, design and layout requirements, and construction methods. The Facility Manager will be proficient in engineering and operational aspects of all building components and systems such as electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditions, boilers, emergency power, roofing, etc.

Responsibilities
- Conducts regular recurring inspections of the facility and grounds, walkways, and parking lots to identify deficiencies/problems.
- Initiates work requests, establishes deadlines and priorities, and monitors the progress of work requests; provides guidance and assistance in solving problems; accepts/reviews finished work for quality and compliance to specifications and policy.
- Receives and responds to inquiries, requests, and complaints concerning the facility and support operations.
- Oversees facilities maintenance and upkeep; coordinates with others to ensure requirements are met.
- Advises government on soundness and justification of major proposals for additions, modifications, and alterations to facilities, which involve large expenditures of funds and resources.
- Responsible for building access and protective alarm systems and reporting utilization data.
- Maintains two government-operated vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of facility management experience
- Interim Secret clearance
