Job Description
 Serve as a Router Team Operator.
 Oversee intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, boundary protection and vulnerability assessment operations to defend the Air Force Network (AFNet).
 Investigate and rectify malfunctions in network hardware and other systems to ensure service continuity.
 Meticulously monitor and manage all WAN circuits, ensuring optimal performance.
 Respond promptly to remote assistance requests from colleagues and service partners, providing expert technical support.
 Create and maintain comprehensive network support and implementation handover documentation for the Helpdesk.
 Manage assigned tasks and projects independently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
 Provide backup support to other team members as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
 Undertake any other assignments or duties as directed by management, demonstrating adaptability and versatility.
 Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across multiple devices to include routers, switches, firewalls, and management systems.
 Understand and implement disaster recovery procedures.
 Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs
 Participate in the implementation of agreed upon solutions and strategies.
 Troubleshoot technology issues, using various internal and external resources.
 Generate innovative approaches and solutions to recurring tasks or problems.
 Document technical problems, resolutions, and processes for assigned tasks and projects.
 Participate in testing and evaluation of new technologies to ensure compatibility and functionality.
